The hummus flavor for today is black olive! It’s the first time that I’ve made this flavor and I’m quite pleased with the results.
Ingredients:
Chick peas
About 2/3rds of a can of whole black olives and some of the juice. The ones I used are pretty mild, stronger olives would probably be even better.
Squeeze lemon juice
Dash olive oil
Two garlic cloves
Spoonfuls of nonfat plain yogurt
Dash of kosher salt
Dried oregano and parsley
Blend in the food processor and enjoy!
